Do you sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA)?
Yes. For any software that handles Protected Health Information, we execute a BAA before development begins. All subprocessors we use for infrastructure are also covered under appropriate agreements.
Can you integrate with our existing EHR?
We have experience with major EHR platforms including Epic, Athenahealth, Kareo, DrChrono, and others with FHIR-compliant APIs. Integration complexity and timeline depends on the specific EHR and what data access the vendor permits.
What happens after launch? Do we need you for ongoing maintenance?
We build for your independence. All systems include full documentation, and we offer optional maintenance retainers, but we don't design systems that require ongoing developer involvement for routine operations. Your team should be able to manage the system day-to-day.
